Jin Luo, also known as "Golden Snails" or "Golden Spirals", is a high-quality black tea produced in Yunnan Province, China. This tea is distinguished by a unique processing method, which involves twisting tea leaves into spirals, which gives it a characteristic appearance and taste.
Origin and production
Jin Luo is made from the tender buds and first leaves of tea bushes harvested in spring. The twisting method, borrowed from the famous Bi Luo Chun green tea, allows the tea to develop richer and juicier flavors. This makes Jin Luo more rounded compared to other varieties of Dian Hong.
Taste and aroma
Jin Lo tea has a complex floral and slightly fruity taste with notes of honey and fresh sweet corn. With prolonged brewing, notes of baked sweet potatoes may appear. It has a creamy texture and a perfectly balanced sweetness, which makes it very pleasant to drink.
The brewing process
For brewing Jin Lo, it is recommended to use water with a temperature of 90-95 ° C. 5 grams of tea is enough for one serving (100 ml). The first brew should be infused for 15 seconds, and the subsequent ones — from 5 to 15 seconds, depending on personal preferences. After 7-8 brews, you can add a few seconds to the infusion time.
Health benefits
Jin Luo is rich in antioxidants and beneficial substances that help strengthen the immune system and improve metabolism. Regular consumption of this tea can help in the fight against stress and improve overall health.
This tea is ideal for enjoying in a relaxed atmosphere or during friendly meetings, creating an atmosphere of comfort and warmth at any tea party.
