Tea Cloud Lao Cha Wei is a unique type of Pu—erh tea that is produced in China. It is a pressed tea that is often made from old tea trees. This tea is appreciated for its complex taste characteristics and aromas that develop with age.

The production process

A cloud (or "tuocha") is a form of pressed tea that can be either raw (shen) or mature (shu). For the production of Lao Cha Cloud, high-quality leaves collected from ancient tea trees are used. After harvesting, the leaves undergo a fermentation process and are pressed into round shapes, which allows the tea to be stored better and develop over time.

Taste and aroma

Tea Cloud Lao Cha Wei has a deep, rich taste with characteristic earthy and woody notes. The aroma may include light fruity accents, as well as sweetness and softness, which develop with each brewing. This tea is known for its rich aftertaste and the ability to reveal new shades when brewed repeatedly.

The brewing process

It is recommended to use hot water (90-95°C) to brew Lao Cha Tea. 5-7 grams of tea is enough for one serving (150 ml). The first brew should be infused for 2-3 minutes, and the subsequent ones can be increased by 30 seconds. This tea is well suited for repeated brewing, allowing you to reveal new nuances of taste with each serving.

Health benefits

Lao Cha Cloud is rich in antioxidants and beneficial substances that help strengthen the immune system and improve metabolism. Regular consumption of this tea can help in lowering cholesterol levels, improving digestion and maintaining normal blood pressure.

This tea is ideal for enjoying in a relaxed atmosphere or during friendly meetings, creating an atmosphere of comfort and warmth at any tea party.
